The Drury women's soccer team scored three first half goals in route to a 4-0 season opening victory over Missouri Southern at Cooper Soccer Complex on Thursday.
Drury is now (1-0) on the season while the Lions of Missouri Southern fall to 0-1.
Drury dominated the Lions in the opening half with senior
Ciara O'Brien scoring first for DU on a free kick at the 26:19 mark.
Emily Cline made is 2-0 with a goal two minutes later (27:52) off an
Emma Huggett assist.
Rachel Krueger capped off a dominate first half by the Panthers scoring at the 32:59 mark from eight yards out off an
Ashley Morefield assist.

Uxoa Bertiz Ayuso scored her first career goal 25 minutes into the second half and was assisted by
Kerri Morris.
Tina Haberberger earned the start for the Panthers and recorded two saves in the first half of action.
Taylor Pemberton saw action for the Panthers playing the whole second half and holding the Lions scoreless.
Offensively it was no contest as Drury outshot Missouri Southern 15-4 with 11 of those coming in the opening half. Morris had a team high four shots for DU with Krueger and O'Brien each recording three shots. Taylor Beck had three of the Lions four shots.
The Drury women's soccer team will continue non-conference home action on Saturday evening when they host Lindenwood at 7:30 at Harrison Stadium/The Curry Sports Complex.
