Swimming & Diving Teams Compete In Hawaii Triangular

HONOLULU, Hawaii - The Drury swimming and diving teams were in action in a triangular vs. NCAA-I foes Hawaii and Minnesota on Saturday.

For the Drury men, Jun Han Kim took home the win in the 200 Fly (1:48.44) with Young Tae Seo third (1:51.74).  Seo was second in the 200 Breast as well (2:02.87) and took third in the 200 IM (1:51.41).  Kim also took a third in the 100 Fly (49.36).

Freshman Konrad Stepien was third in both the 1650 Free (16:07.95) and the 500 Free (4:32.63) and  Rodrigo Caceres was third in the 50 Free (21.21).

Turning in top performances for the DU women were freshman Bailee Nunn from Marshfield, who was second in the 100 Breast (1:02.38) and second in the 200 Breast (2:14.60) along with a third in the 200 IM (2:03.61).

Katya Rudenko also had a second place finish in the 100 Back (56.61) and Wen Xu was second in the 50 Free (23.76).

The Panther women also took a second in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:44.49. and the 400 Free Relay (3:28.07). 

Up next for the Drury swimming and diving teams will me the "Dual in the Pool" vs. Missouri State at Breech Pool set for January 19 at 5 p.m.
