INDIANAPOLIS — Drury senior Ivan Adamchuk and junior Belen Morales capped standout weekends in the pool by sweeping Athletic Solutions Great Lakes Valley Conference Athlete of the Week honors in swimming following the Panthers' dominant performances at the Drury Invitational.

Adamchuk turned in first-place performances in all five events in which he competed over the weekend, including individual wins in the 100 (48.23), 200 back (1:44.95), as well as a Breech Pool record in the 200 IM (1:48.17). The Brest, Belarus native also helped DU to victories in the 200 medley (22.47) and 400 medley (47.95) relays with standout splits in the backstroke.

Morales also delivered a clean sweep in her four events at the DU Invite, as the junior from Guatemala City claimed gold in three individual races, including a personal best in the 500 free (4:45.72). The junior also took first in the 100 (50.47) and 200 free (1:50.00) and helped the Panthers' 400 medley relay team to a win with her 50.03 freestyle split.

The GLVC honor is the second of Adamchuk's Drury career and the second for a Panther in 2026-27, following Yuri Cabral's win on Oct. 14. With her first career GLVC Athlete of the Week accolade, Morales joins Sophia Deane (Oct. 7) on DU's list of female GLVC honorees in the first month of the new season.
