Ben Bruce and Dean McConnell each netted two goals to help the Drury men's soccer team to a 4-1 win over UMSL Friday at Harrison Stadium/The Curry Sports Complex.

The Panthers improved to 6-5-1 and 5-4-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Tritons moved their record to 5-6-2 and 5-5-1 in the conference.

McConnell scored the first goal of the contest, coming at the 26^th minute mark off a rebound.  Charles Guelly got the assist.  Guelly dished out his second assist of the game in the 34^th minute, when Bruce netted his team-leading fifth goal of the year.

McConnell struck for his second goal at the 52^nd minute with Bruce getting the assist. Pat Ries, the GLVC leader for goals, got the Tritons on the board in the 62^nd minute.  Bruce capped off the Panthers four goal night with his second goal, which came in the 80^th minute.
 
UMSL goalie Jake Schmidt had six saves. Drury outshot UMSL 17-8, with 10 of those coming on goal.
