LIBERTY, Mo. – Drury claimed wins in the first, third, and fifth sets, to claim a 3-2 victory and close out the regular season at William Jewell on Friday in
Liberty, Missouri.
The Panthers finish the regular season 19-12 and 8-10 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. William Jewell finishes the season with a 10-20 overall record and 4-13 mark in the league.
The Panthers won the opening set 26-24, took the third set 25-23, and sealed the win with a 15-13 win in the fifth.
Bentley Mara led Drury with 15 kills and hit .361 for the match, while
Kendra Sater added 52 assists.
Evan Larson had a team-high 3.5 blocks and Paige Perry added three serving aces.
The Cardinals had three players in double-figures in kills as Stef Richterkessing had 22, Elizabeth Quinn had 20 and Maddie Wingert had 12. Drury had 11 blocks to Jewell's six.
