Panthers host Rockhurst on Senior Day
Drury plays their final home game of the season on Saturday as they host Rockhurst for Senior Day at 3 p.m. in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
The Panthers are 18-10 and 7-8 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Hawks are 22-6 and 10-4 in the league going into their game on Friday at Truman State. Rockhurst is in first place in the West Division while Drury enters the weekend in second place in the West with a percentage-points lead over Truman State.
Going into the weekend, the Panthers are in the eighth position in the GLVC overall with eight qualifying to the conference tournament. Drury plays two more games in the regular season after Saturday's contest with Rockhurst and both of them are on the road. The Panthers are at Truman State on Tuesday and they face William Jewell in Liberty, Missouri on Nov. 10.
Drury won the earlier meeting against Rockhurst with a 3-0 win in Kansas City. Each of the three sets was tightly contested but the Panthers prevailed 26-24, 25-23, 31-29.
The Hawks lead the all-time series 42-14.
