Drury head coach
Scott Nasby said he was pleased with the timely hitting from his team throughout the series. "Through the weekend we had six hits that had three RBI's each," he said. "When you can get three runs with one swing of the bat, you're going to win a lot of games. I was also pleased with how our bullpen bounced back from Friday's game. We got good innings from three different guys when they were challenged."
Â
Drury is idle until next Saturday when they open play in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a four-game series against Missouri S&T. Saturday's doubleheader starts at 2 p.m. at US Baseball Park.
