Drury looks to bounce back at home vs Truman State
After two games on the road last week, Drury returns home on Friday to face Truman State at the Lake Country Soccer Complex. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
 
The Panthers will be looking to bounce back from back-to-back losses last weekend. Drury lost at Illinois Springfield 1-0 on Friday and had Quincy score a late goal in a 2-1 loss to the Hawks on Sunday.
 
The Panthers are 3-3 and 2-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Confernce. Three of their six games have been decided on goals in the last three minutes. Drury won home games over Wisconsin-Parkside and Indianapolis with late goals and lost at Quincy on a goal with 1:48 remaining.
 
Truman State is 2-5 and 1-3 in the league. Three of the Bulldogs five losses have come against nationally ranked teams. Truman State lost to seventh ranked Rockhurst 2-0 on Sunday in their last game. The Bulldogs started the season with a loss to 17^th ranked Lindenwood, 3-0, and a loss to 19^th ranked Sagniaw Valley State 3-0. Truman State's wins have come against Southwest Baptist, 4-0 on Sept. 5 in a non-conference game, and over William Jewell 3-2 on Sept. 15.
 
The Panthers won last year's meeting 3-2 on Sept. 23 in Kirksville. Drury leads the all-time series 9-6-2 against the Bulldogs. Truman State is 1-5-2 in their history at Drury.
 
Drury is home again on Sunday as they host William Jewell for a 2:30 p.m. game at Harrison Stadium / Curry Sports Complex.
