Drury opens GLVC play against Wisconsin-Parkside 
The Panthers open their Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule at home on Friday against Wisconsin-Parkside. The game is the league opener for both teams.
 
Drury is 1-1 after starting the season with a 3-0 win over Northeastern State followed by a home loss to Northwood on Sunday, 1-0. The Rangers are 0-2 after a season opening loss at Upper Iowa, 4-1, and a 1-0 loss at home to Purdue-Northwest.
 
The Panthers are 6-5-2 all-time against Wisconsin-Parkside and won the last meeting with a 3-2 win in Wisconsin last year. Drury trailed 2-1 in last year's game but got two goals in the final 13 minutes of regulation as Antoine Vial scored in the 78th minute to tie the game and David Cross' penalty kick found the net for the game-winner in the 82nd minute. The Rangers won their last game in Springfield with a 2-0 win over Drury in 2015.
 
Drury plays their fourth consecutive home game on Sunday when they host Indianapolis. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at Harrison Stadium / Curry Sports Complex.
