ST. PETERS, Mo.- The Drury women's swimming & diving team won seven events while the Drury men's squad took a pair of first place finishes at the Lindenwood Tri-Meet on Saturday at the St. Peters Rec-Plex in St. Peters, Missouri.

The meet was a triangular between the Panthers, Lindenwood and Delta State. Delta State's men's team is tied for fourth in the NCAA-II rankings while Lindenwood is ranked eighth. Drury entered the meet ranked third. The women's top 25 had the Panthers ranked second, Lindenwood 11th and Delta State 15th.
The Drury women's team won both ends of their triangular defeating Lindenwood 140-100 and Delta State 128-110. Drury's men's team lost to Lindenwood 131-91 but beat Delta State 136-100.Â

Both Drury teams were competing less than 24 hours after their Friday night dual against Missouri State in Springfield.

Women's Highlights
Drury won seven events and got two wins each from
Erica Dahlgren and
Bailee Nunn. Dahlgren, a junior from Gothenburg, Sweden, won the 1000 Free (10:14.35) and the 500 Free (5:01.60). Nunn, junior from Marshfield who is the reigning NCAA-II Swimmer of the Year, took first in the 100 Fly (55.88) and the 100 Breast (1:02.64).

Bec Cross, a freshman from Canberra, Australia, won the 400 IM with a time of 4:28.75 and
Yasmin Preusse, a freshman out of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, posted the top time in the 100 Free (52.49).

The Panthers ended the day with a victory in the 200 Free Relay as Preusse,
Caytee Wright,
Madeline Nelson, and Abby Lunzmann led Drury to a win with a time of 1:36.95.

Men's Highlights
Joan Casanovas gave the Panthers a win in the 1000 Free as the junior from Sabadell, Spain touch the wall in 9:40.47. Drury's other win in the event came from
Pavel Semochkin in the 100 Free as the sophomore from St. Petersburg, Russia posted a time of 52.49.

The Panthers finished second in six different events including their 200 Medley Relay team and their 200 Free Relay team. Dixon, Illinois freshman
Caleb Carlson was second in the 50 Free (21.04), and he finished third in the 100 Back (51.54) behind teammate
Khameron Glass, who was second with a time of 51.01.
Reed McKinney, a sophomore from Katy, Texas, was second in the 500 Free (4:42.68) and Young Teo Seo, a senior from Los Angeles, was second in the 100 Breast (56.91) while
Tame Govaerts-Paul was third in the same event (57.42).

The Drury swim teams will be home for the first time this year when they host the Drury Invitational on Nov. 2-3 at the Breech Pool.
