Drury head coach
Steve Hesser can get his 300th career win as a collegiate head coach in Thursday's game should the Panthers win at home over Lewis. Tipoff is at 7:45 p.m. at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
Drury is 18-4, 11-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and is in first place in the West Division. The Panthers enter Thursday's game having won six straight. Drury is 10-1 at home this season as they are back on their own floor for the first time since Feb. 1. The Panthers have won their last six home games since their Dec. 2 loss at the O' to McKendree.
Head coach
Steve Hesser enters the game with a career record of 299-110 and is in his 14
th year leading the Drury program. In Drury's 109 year history of men's basketball, only the legendary A.L. Weiser has more wins as a Drury head coach than Hesser. Weiser won 316 games during his 31 years guiding the team from 1927-1958.
Lewis is 12-13 and 7-8 in the league. The Flyers are coming off of a 71-57 win at home over Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday.
