Drury led 28-19 early in the second period but went on a 12-0 run and built a 46-24 lead at halftime.

"Rebounding is an effort statistic, and I was really pleased with our effort tonight," said Drury head coach
Molly Miller. "Teams that are winning championships are dominating their opponents, and that's been our theme lately. Before the break (at mid-season) we were letting teams hang around. Lately, we've been able to dominate and pull away…that's what championship teams do."
The Lady Panthers play again on Thursday when they travel to Rockhurst. Game time is 5:30 p.m. in Kansas City, Missouri.
