SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- Drury rallied to win the second game of a doubleheader to earn a split with Rockhurst on Saturday at Thompson Field in Springfield. The Panthers lost game one 6-1 but took the second game 4-2.

In game one, Rockhurst struck for five runs in the first two innings. Lauren Marks drove in four of those runs hitting a two-run homer in the first inning and a two-RBI single in the second.

Hawks starter Shannon Greene went five innings and allowed one unearned run on four hits with one walk and two strikeouts.

Emily Stringer went 2 for 3 at the plate for Drury and had her team's lone RBI in the game.

The Panthers trailed 2-1 going into the sixth inning of game two but rallied with three runs to take the lead. Jacy Ummel started the frame with a double, and after Madison Hecker was intentionally walked, Emaree Stone tied the game with a double. Dominque Salinas then drove Hecker and Stone home with an extra-base hit to give Drury the lead.

Panthers reliever Hailly Greenough (4-3) got the win after entering the game in the fourth inning and the junior from Sierra Vista, Arizona retired all 12 batters she faced while striking out three.

Drury moved their record to 10-16 and 3-9 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Rockhurst went to 14-19 and 8-4 in the league.

Drury is at home again on Tuesday when they host Missouri Western State in a doubleheader that starts at 2 p.m. at Thompson Field.
