ST. LOUIS, Mo.- Drury lost at the University of Missouri-St. Louis 9-1 in six innings on Saturday and had their second game of the doubleheader postponed until Sunday after two hours of rain delays during game one.

It was the third straight loss for the Panthers who fell to 13-22 and 4-15 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Tritons improved to 28-15 and 15-6 in the league.

UMSL starter Carly Kingery (11-3) got the win as she held Drury to three hits and one walk while striking out 12. The Tritons scored two runs in the first inning and added three more in the third. They ended the game in the sixth inning on Serena Olson's two-run homer that gave UMSL an eight-run lead.

The Panthers got on the board with a solo home run from Kelly Conway, her first of the season, in the top of the fourth. Drury's other two hits came from Jacy Ummel, who went 2 for 3 at the plate with a double.

Tritons 1B Chelsea Martinez went 3 for 3 with two doubles and three runs batted in.

The second game of the scheduled doubleheader never got underway. The rescheduled contest will start at noon on Sunday in St. Louis.
