SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- Drury celebrated Senior Day with their second straight doubleheader sweep of the weekend as they took two games from Bellarmine winning game one 3-1 and the second game 10-0 in five innings at Thompson Field in Springfield on Saturday.

The Panthers improved to 18-22 and 9-15 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Bellarmine dropped to 14-26 and 5-17 in the league.

In game one, Drury broke a scoreless tie in the sixth inning on
Kelley Conway's three-run homer. Conway, one of three honorees on Senior Day, entered the game for a pinch-hit at-bat and hammered the ball over the left field fence to give her team the lead.

Kasey Cazares (8-7) got the win for the Panthers going seven innings allowing four hits, one run and one walk with three strikeouts. She surrendered a run in the top of the seventh breaking a streak of 21.2 innings without allowing an earned run.

Drury won the second game 10-0 in five innings. The Panthers scored a run in the first and added two more in the second before putting the game away with a seven-run fourth inning.

Jacy Ummel went 3 for 3 with two runs, a stolen base and she extended her hitting streak to a season-high 12 games.
Emily Stringer, also honored before the game as a graduating senior, drove in three runs going 2 for 2 at the plate.

Madison Resch (4-9) shut out the Knights allowing just two hits.

Drury will finish the regular season on the road next weekend. The Panthers play at Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday and Lewis on Sunday with both doubleheaders starting at noon.
