DU softball games pushed back to Sunday and Monday

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Winter weather has pushed back Drury's home softball doubleheaders to Sunday and Monday afternoon. The Panthers will take on Maryville on Sunday at 2 p.m. and will now face Missouri S&T on Monday at noon with all four games at Thompson Field in Springfield.
 
Drury is 10-16 and 3-9 in the GLVC. They have been idle since splitting a doubleheader with Rockhurst last Saturday. The Panthers had their Tuesday games against Missouri Western State postponed.
 
Maryville is 18-15-1 and 5-9 in the conference. The Saints were swept in a doubleheader last Saturday at home against Truman State falling 4-3 and 5-4 in 9 innings.
 
Missouri S&T entered the weekend with an 18-16 overall record and an 8-6 mark in the league. The Lady Miners are coming off of two losses to William Jewell last Saturday having fallen 4-2 and 12-2 to the Cardinals.
 
The Panthers are led at the plate by Madison Hecker who is hitting .365. The freshman C/INF has three home runs and 15 runs batted in.
