ST. LOUIS, Mo.- The 17th ranked Drury Panthers turned in a dominating performance in their first road test in the Great Lakes Valley Conference this season with a 3-0 win over Maryville at Moloney Arena in St. Louis, Missouri on Friday. Drury won all three sets by double-digits, 25-15, 25-13, and 25-11 to complete the match in 64 minutes.

The Panthers improved to 9-2 and 3-0 in the GLVC while the Saints fell to 4-8 and 0-4 in the league.

Emmalee Chrest, the reigning GLVC Offensive Player of the Week and national Player of the Week in NCAA-II, led Drury with 11 kills and four service aces. The senior from Wamego, Kansas registered back-to-back aces in the third set and added five block assists.

Taylor Forth had six block assists as the Panthers totaled eight blocks as a team in the game.
Bentley Mara contributed nine kills while
Kendra Sater had 23 assists and
Bree Schmidt was credited with 15 digs.

Drury's road trip to St. Louis continues on Saturday as the Panthers take on the University of Missouri-St. Louis at 3 p.m.
