Panthers look to break through vs Maryville
Drury will look for their first win of the season on Friday when they host Maryville for a 12:30 p.m. game at Harrison Stadium/Curry Sports Complex.
The Panthers are 0-5-1, 0-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and are coming off of a 1-0 overtime loss at the University of Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday. The Saints are 1-2-2 and 0-1-1 in the league. Maryville tied Bellarmine 2-2 at home on Sunday in their last game.
Drury leads the all-time series against the Saints 7-1-1 but is 0-1-1 against Maryville during the last two years. The two teams battled to a scoreless tie in last year's meeting in St. Louis and Maryville won in their previous trip to Springfield with a 2-1 win over the Panthers in 2016.
