Panthers face first-place McKendree
Drury hosts a McKendree team that is in a four-way tie for first place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference on Friday at the Lake Country Soccer Complex. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
 
The Panthers are 0-7-1 and 0-4 in the GLVC. McKendree, who went 2-14 last year, are 5-1-1 this season and 3-0-1 in the league. The Bearcats are tied for first place in the conference with Southern Indiana, Illinois Springfield, and Quincy, all of whom are 3-0-1. Rockhurst trails that pack with a 2-0-2 league record.
 
Drury is coming off of a 3-1 loss at home to Missouri S&T on Sunday while McKendree battled Indianapolis to a scoreless tie on the road Sunday.
 
The Panthers have never lost to McKendree. Drury won last year's meeting 3-2 at Harrison Stadium and is 6-0-1 all-time against the Bearcats. 
 
Drury is home again on Sunday when they host William Jewell on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Harrison Stadium / Curry Sports Complex.
