EAST PEORIA, Ill.- Drury scrapped to a fifth set attempting to keep their season alive in the quarterfinals of the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament, but Indianapolis would surge to win the decisive set 15-10 to defeat the Panthers 3-2 on Friday in East Peoria, Illinois.

Drury, who tied for fourth in the league standings with UIndy, ended their season with a 17-16 record. The Greyhounds advanced to the conference semifinals with a 21-8 record.

The first two sets went beyond 25 points as Indianapolis won the first 26-24 while Drury took the second 27-25. The Panthers lost the third 25-18 but forced the match to go the distance with a 25-17 win in the fourth set.

Drury owned an 8-6 lead in the fifth, but the Greyhounds went on a 4-0 run and won nine of the last 11 points in the match to seal the win.

Makina Wratten had two solo blocks and nine block assists to go with 13 kills.
Regan Dennis added 15 kills, and
Julia McCown contributed 11 kills.

Katie Furlong led Indianapolis with a game-high 23 kills.
