Nikko Calabro went 3-for-3 and drove home three runs to help the Drury Panthers baseball team win game three of a GLVC series vs. Quincy 14-2 on Sunday at US Baseball Park.
Drury improved to 10-11, 3-3 GLVC and Quincy fell to 13-4, 5-1 GLVC.
Nick Stroud struckout seven Panthers early as both teams remained scoreless through the first four innings.
Jackson Dierenfeldt tripled to right center with the bases loaded to clear the bases and put DU up 3-0 in the fifth.
Ryan Kayhill blooped an RBI single to left to score Dierenfeldt to make it 4-0 to complete the fifth.
Quincy was able to get on the board with a pair of runs in the sixth before Drury erupted for 10 runs on six hits to run rule the Hawks after a final seventh inning.
Drury outhit Quincy 10-4 with Dierenfeldt going 2-for-3 with two triples and six RBIs.
Hunter Becker (2-0) earned the win and went 5-2 innings while allowing one run and two hits. Stroud (2-2) received the loss for the Hawks.
Up next for the baseball Panthers will be GLVC road series on Wednesday at Rockhurst with first pitch of the doubleheader set for a noon start.
