SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– The Drury Panthers are home for the first time since April 2nd as they host Quincy and Truman State for doubleheaders this weekend at Thompson Field. Drury starts their weekend with Quincy on Friday at 2 pm and then will take on Truman State on Saturday at noon.
The Panthers are 31-14, 10-8 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and are ranked 10th in the Midwest Region. Drury's 31 wins are the second-most in the 12-year history of the program, trailing only the 2012 team that finished 36-19.
Quincy is 17-21 and 7-13 in the GLVC. The Hawks are coming off of a split of a doubleheader against Illinois Springfield on Monday.
Truman State is 25-12, 11-9 in the GLVC, and was swept in a doubleheader on Tuesday at Central Missouri. Prior to Tuesday's setbacks, however, the Bulldogs had won nine in a row, and they outscored their opponents 67-6 during the streak.

The senior leads the GLVC in nearly every offensive category hitting .576 (she is 68 for 118), with 9 home runs, 30 runs batted in, and she has stolen 40 bases – nearly doubling the total of the next closest player in the conference.
