SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– The Drury Panthers, in second place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, will face off against the second-place team in the MIAA as they host Central Missouri for a 3 pm doubleheader at Thompson Field in Springfield.
The Panthers are 24-9 and 7-3 in the GLVC while the Jennies are 19-9, 5-1 in the MIAA, and will enter Wednesday's doubleheader with a six-game winning streak.
Drury has won three of their four games this week having swept Lewis at home on Sunday, and they split a twin-bill against 20
th ranked Indianapolis at Thompson Field on Monday. Central Missouri swept Southwest Baptist in a doubleheader on Sunday winning 3-0 and 7-5 in Warrensburg. The Jennies have won seven of their 10 games against GLVC opponents so far this season.
The two teams were scheduled to meet on Feb. 15 in Bentonville, Arkansas but the tournament was canceled due to inclement weather.
Drury returns to conference play on Saturday when they travel to McKendree for a doubleheader starting at noon in Lebanon, Illinois.

--Drury has already won more games this season than in eight of their previous 11 campaigns. Their 24 wins are also the most since 2015 when they won 25.
