SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- After falling 3-1 in game one, the Drury Panthers had a late-inning eruption offensively in game two and won 10-2 in six innings to earn a split in a doubleheader against Truman State at Thompson Field in Springfield on Saturday.

The Panthers ended the day 33-16 and 12-10 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference while the Bulldogs went to 28-13 and 14-10 in the league.

In game one, Christa Reisinger, the reigning NCAA-II Player of the Week, scored all three of Truman State's runs going 4 for 4 at the plate with two solo home runs, two singles, and two stolen bases. Reisinger entered the game hitting .585 and led off the day with a bunt single, then scored on a double by Alyssa Rivera. She added a solo home run in the third inning and again in the seventh.

The Panthers tied the game at 1-1 in the second inning on
Megan Tersteeg's ground ball that scored
Devin Hale, but for the second straight game, Drury stranded 11 runners and eight were left on in scoring position.

Alyssa Hajduk (13-4) got the win for Truman State going seven innings allowing 10 hits, and one unearned run with two walks and four strikeouts.
Hailly Greenough (6-7) took the loss for the Panthers.

Truman State owned a 2-1 lead on Drury in game two going into the bottom the fifth when
Jacy Ummel gave the Panthers the lead hitting a two-RBI double. Ummel would drive in three more runs on another double an inning later as Drury scored seven runs, all with two outs in the sixth, and ended the game early with a 10-2, run-rule win.

Hailly Greenough went 2 for 4 at the plate for the Panthers with two RBI's and a double, while
Serenity Healy also went 2 for 4 with a run and two RBI's.

Kasey Cazares (13-3) got the win going six innings allowing five hits, and two runs, with five walks and four strikeouts. She pitched her way out of a bases-loaded jam in the second inning and worked around base runners throughout the game as the Bulldogs stranded eight in six innings. The win marked Drury's 10
th victory by run-rule this season.

Lauren Dale (14-4) took the loss for the Bulldogs as Truman State had their 10-game GLVC winning streak snapped.

Drury will step out of conference play for their next game as they travel to Southwest Baptist on Tuesday at 2 pm for a doubleheader in Bolivar, Missouri.
