DU Athletics ranks 19th in Learfield IMG Directors' Cup standings

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Drury University Athletics is ranked 19th among 316 NCAA-II institutions in the latest Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings. Drury picked up points during the winter sports season from women's swimming & diving finishing as the national runner-up, women's basketball advancing to the national semifinals, men's basketball gaining entry into the national tournament, men's swimming finishing 18th nationally, and wrestling with two wins at the national championships by Blake Clevenger competing at 157 pounds.
 
The Learfield IMG Directors' Cup awards points to each institution based on their finish in NCAA championships. Drury Athletics has accumulated 303 points so far this year, and they have the top total among Great Lakes Valley Conference programs.
 
Grand Valley State leads the standings with 715 points, Colorado School of Mines is second with 523, and Queens (NC) is in third with 521 points.
 
Other GLVC teams that rank in the top 25 include Indianapolis in 21st with 298.5 points and Lewis ranks 24th with 282.75. 
 
Drury Athletics has finished in the top 50 in the NCAA-II Directors' Cup standings for 21 consectuive years.
