The Panthers lost the fifth set to the Lions 18-16 on Tuesday and to 23rd ranked Central Washington 18-16 last weekend in the Washburn Invitational.

Colorado Mesa is off to a 3-1 start. The Mavericks picked up wins over Fresno Pacific, Lubbock Christian, and Dallas Baptist while their lone loss coming against Northern State, a team currently ranked seventh in the NCAA-II coaches' poll. Colorado Mesa went 24-7 last year and qualified for the NCAA-II tournament where they advanced to the second round falling to 20th ranked Texas A&M Commerce in five sets.

Drury faces Missouri Western State (4-0) on Friday at 11 a.m., and seventh-ranked Northern State at 7 p.m. later that night.
