Panthers open 2019 vs. 22nd ranked Northeastern St.
Drury opens the 2019 season with a home game against 22nd ranked Northeastern State on Friday at Harrison Stadium in the Curry Sports Complex.
The Panthers were 2-13-3 and 2-9-2 in the GLVC last year with two losses coming in overtime, and six of their defeats decided by a single goal. Panthers head coach

Jamie O'Brien, an All-GLVC selection last year as a freshman, to this year's team.
Northeastern State went 15-3-1 last season and advanced to the Round of 16 in the NCAA-II tournament. The RiverHawks are picked to finish second and received three first-place votes in the Great American Conference. Northeastern State will be in their first year competing in the GAC after being a member of the MIAA.
Drury leads the all-time series against NEU 6-2 but lost 5-0 last year in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
The Panthers are home again on Sunday when they host Ouachita Baptist at 2:30 p.m.
