SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury men's basketball team's season opener on Friday, Nov. 27, at the University of Missouri-St. Louis has been postponed due to concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Panthers, as a team, must quarantine for the next 14 days following a positive test from one player. Tests were conducted on each player, coaches, and members of the team's support staff on Monday.
Following the protocols established by the NCAA and the Great Lakes Valley Conference, Drury's men's team must postpone not only their season opener on Nov. 27, but games on Sunday, Nov. 29 at Lindenwood, Dec. 3 against Southwest Baptist, Dec. 5 at William Jewell, and Dec. 12 at Rockhurst. Every attempt will be made to reschedule each of those contests.

men's basketball schedule page for the latest changes throughout the basketball season.
