SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury University announced their first set of honorees for their 2020 Drury All-Sports Awards. Each year, Drury Athletics announces in their end-of-year awards in a ceremony near the end of the spring sports season. With the campus closed due to concerns associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's event was canceled, but the athletics department moved forward to continue to honor this year's student-athletes for outstanding achievements in competition, in the classroom and in the community.
The first set of announcements from Drury Athletics is for the Panther Pride Awards.
Each Drury team named a Panther Pride Award recipient for an individual that exemplified any one of these characteristics or a combination of them: an outstanding academic record, a positive role model, an unsung hero, and the embodiment of the team player.
