SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury volleyball team is ranked 10
th in this week's NCAA-II coaches' poll. The Panthers are 2-1 and were receiving votes in last week's poll.
Hillsdale (5-0) is ranked number one nationally, while fellow Great Lakes Valley Conference member Lewis (3-0) is ranked second, and Angelo State (5-0) is ranked third.
In addition to Lewis and Drury, five other GLVC teams are in the top 25 this week. Rockhurst (2-1) is ranked fifth, Quincy (3-1) is ninth, Southern Indiana (2-1) is 18
th in the poll, and Indianapolis (1-2) is 24
th.
The NCAA moved women's volleyball from the fall to the spring semester due to concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic. The GLVC is playing a full conference schedule in addition to a championship tournament in April, but there will be no NCAA-II national tournament in the spring.
The Panthers return to the court on Friday when they travel to William Jewell for a 7 pm match in Liberty, Missouri.
