SPRINGFIELD, Mo.–
Adem Hamdaoua's goal six minutes into overtime gave Drury a 3-2 win over Missouri-St. Louis at Harrison Stadium in Springfield on Sunday afternoon.
The win lifted the Panthers to 4-3 and dropped the Tritons to 4-2-2.
Drury struck first in the game on
Joshua Lewis-Evans' first goal of the season as the senior from Rickmansworth, England, put the Panthers in the 15
th minute.
The Tritons evened the score six minutes later, then took the lead on a goal in the 56
th minute. Lewis-Evans, however, scored his second goal of the game in the 69
th minute and forced overtime.
Adem Hamdaoua then ended the contest in the 96
th minute giving the Panthers their second win of the week.
Drury travel to defending GLVC champion McKendree for their next game as they take on the Bearcats Friday at 7:30 pm in Lebanon, Illinois.
