EVANSVILLE, Ind.– Southern Indiana scored four goals in the second half to pull away from Drury in a 4-0 win over the Panthers at Strassweg Field in Evansville, Indiana on Sunday.
The loss dropped Drury to 3-4-2 while the Screaming Eagles raised their record to 7-2.
The Panthers battled Southern Indiana to a scoreless deadlock at halftime, but Morgan Beyer of the Screaming Eagles, scored two goals just 54 seconds apart to give her team a 2-0 lead. Southern Indiana added two more goals on scores from Jill DiTusa and Taylor Hall.
Drury put up four shots-on-goal in the loss.
The Panthers return home on April 1 to take on Indianapolis for a 10 a.m. game at Harrison Stadium.
