KIRKSVILLE, Mo.— Drury won at Truman State 16-4 in eight innings in Kirksville, Missouri on Sunday, taking three of the four games in their weekend series against the Bulldogs.
The Panthers head back to Springfield with a 12-20 record and a 12-16 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Truman State went to 5-27 and 5-19 in the GLVC.
Drury scored a run in the first inning, then opened up a 5-0 lead with four runs in the second. The Bulldogs pulled within two, but the Panthers kept their offense going and put the game away with a six-run eighth inning.

Dylan Frandsen (1-0) got the win for Drury going four innings in relief. He allowed just two hits and one run with two walks and three strikeouts. Jordan Marlott (0-3) took the loss for Truman State.
The Panthers return home for a four-game series against 23
rd ranked Quincy starting Friday at 5 pm at US Baseball Park in Ozark.
