SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury men's swimming team returned to the pool on Friday night and picked up a win in a dual over Missouri S&T 193-69 at the Breech Pool in Springfield.
It marked Drury's first swimming competition since Dec. 17.
Highlights
- Drury got first-place finishes in 12 of the 14 events
- Lukas Steiner, Ean Vandergraaf, and Ahmed Wahby finished 1-2-3 in the 200 Free and were separated by just 0.15 seconds as Steiner won (1:42.51) with Vadergraaf second (1:42.54), and Wahby was third (1:42.66)
- Newcomer Mikita Tsmyh won the 100 Back (47.89), and the 200 Back (1:46.23)
- James Brown won the 200 Fly (1:48.73), and the 200 IM (1:49.23)
- Kham Glass broke 20 seconds in the 50 Free and won that event with a time of 19:99, and then won the 100 Free (45.35)
The Panthers men's and women's swim teams are back in competition on Jan. 29 and will celebrate Senior Day in a triangular with Oklahoma Christian and William Jewell at 1 pm at the Breech Pool.
