SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury battled hard against Missouri S&T but suffered their fifth straight loss, including three that went to five sets in Friday's 3-2 loss on Saturday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
Drury fell to 7-11, while the Lady Miners went to 10-5.
 
The Panthers led wire-to-wire in the opening set on their way to a 25-16 win to start the match. Missouri S&T bounced back to win the second set 25-19, but three hard-fought sets fell in favor of the Lady Minors 2-1.
 
Salma Lewis led Drury with 21 kills, and she added 9 digs. Chloe Rear had 48 assists, while Juliana Squire was credited with 13 digs. Stormi Tadlock also added 9 block assists.
 
Madelyn Mason had 17 kills for Missouri S&T, while Hannah Merjil added 44 assists.
 
The Panthers will be on the road next as they travel to Arkansas Fort Smith on Tuesday, October 4^th.
