SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury middle blocker
Stormi Tadlock was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week in volleyball for her performance in three matches last week.
Tadlock averaged 4.11 kills per set and posted a hitting percentage of .517 as the Panthers went 3-0 last week while winning each game in straight sets. The sophomore from Ozark had 15 kills in three sets on Saturday against Indianapolis while hitting .500, and she contributed 12 kills on Tuesday at Arkansas Tech, hitting at a .474 clip. Tadlock was also in double-figures in kills against McKendree with 10 and had a hitting percentage of .600. She also had seven blocks for the week, averaging 0.78 per set. Tadlock also averaged 4.56 points per set and had a total of 41 in Drury's nine sets last week.
It is the first GLVC weekly award in Tadlock's career and marks the second week in a row a Drury player has won the honor. Last week,
Chloe Rear was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week.
The Panthers enter the week having won six straight matches and will be on the road for two games with week as they travel to 23
rd ranked Lewis on Friday, then Illinois Springfield on Saturday.
