OZARK, Mo.— Drury's perfect start and their explosive offense carried over to their tenth game of the season as they defeated Wisconsin Parkside 24-2 on Monday at US Baseball Park in Ozark.
The Panthers improved to 10-0 and sent Rangers north with an 0-3 start to their season.
Drury opened the game with eight runs in the first inning. Leading 11-0, the Panthers put up nine more runs in the sixth.
Drury belted four home runs, two of them from
Carson Shaver, while
Nikko Calabro and
Wes Collins also went deep.
Aaron Mann with 2 for 3 with three runs, three RBI's, a double, and he walked three times. Calabro also had a three-day and finished with two RBI's and three runs scored.
Mason Meeks (3-0) went seven innings for the win and allowed four hits, two runs, and one walk while striking out nine.
The Panthers have scored in double-digits in nine of their 10 games and have put up a total of 148 runs while only allowing 32.
Drury is at home again this weekend when they host Missouri S&T in a four-game, non-conference series starting at 4 pm on Friday at US Baseball Park in Ozark.
