OZARK, Mo. – Drury returned home to sweep Southern Indiana a doubleheader on Saturday at US Baseball Park in Ozark. The Panthers had another offensive outbreak in game one, winning 22-3, then completed the sweep with an 11-7 win in game two.
The Panthers, ranked 25
th nationally, improved to 15-4. The Screaming Eagles dropped to 9-7.
Drury snapped a three-game losing streak in game one as their offense caught fire again, scoring 22 runs on 23 hits. The Panthers scored in every inning except the first as they broke a 1-1 tie with five runs in the third. They added two more tallies in the fourth, three in fifth, the blew open the lead further scoring seven times in the sixth inning.

Aaron Mann went 2 for 3 with three runs, a home run, a triple, and five RBI's.
Austin Fennewald went 4 for 5 with three runs, three RBI's, and a double.
Cody Bahl (4-1) got the win going 7.1 innings, allowing four hits, two runs, and two walks with 11 strikeouts.
In game two, Drury broke a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the seventh with a run, then put the game out of reach with a five-run eighth inning.
After Southern Indiana scored twice in the top of the seventh to tie the game, the Panthers responded to take the lead on an RBI-single by
Cooper Munro.
Kaden Helsel and
Jackson Dierenfeldt both drove in runs with doubles in the eighth, then
Nikko Calabro drew a bases-loaded walk, and Munro picked up two more RBI's with a single to centerfield.
Jack Jones (1-0) got the win in relief for the Panthers, while Tyler Hutson (1-1) took the loss for the Screaming Eagles.
Wes Collins went 3 for 4 for Drury. The freshman from O'Fallon, Illinois, hit a double as well as his fifth home run of the year along with three RBI's.
Drury and Southern Indiana conclude their three-game series on Sunday at noon at US Baseball Park.
