QUINCY, Ill. – The Drury Panthers picked up a road win in their Great Lakes Valley Conference opener with a 3-0 win at Quincy on Sunday afternoon at Legends Stadium in Quincy, Illinois.
The Panthers improved to 3-1-1 and 1-0 in the GLVC, while the Hawks fell to 2-2-2 and 0-1 in the conference.
Drury scored two goals 52 seconds apart in the 35
th minute.
Kaelan Debbage got the Panthers on the board with an assist from
Mitchell Vaughn, then, less than a minute later, Vaughn converted a penalty kick to give Drury a 2-0 lead.
In the second half, Debbage scored his second goal of the game and fifth of the season, sending a shot into the upper part of the net with an assist from
Jason Puente.

Tyler Frolik had seven saves in the shutout win.
Drury is back on the road for their next game as they travel to William Jewell on Friday, Sept. 16 for a 7:30 pm game in Liberty, Missouri.
