Panthers home to face Missouri S&T on Saturday
The Drury Panthers are at home on Saturday against Missouri S&T in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match starting at 3 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
Drury is 7-10, 2-2 in the GLVC and is looking for their first win in four matches. The Panthers lost at Harding on Tuesday to a squad that has won 16 of their 17 games this season, including 13 straight. Drury dropped home matches last weekend to Rockhurst and Southwest Baptist.
 
Missouri S&T is 9-4 and is off to a 3-1 start in the league. The Miners play at Southwest Baptist on Friday but enter the weekend coming off of a home win against Rockhurst on Saturday 3-1 (27-25, 25-20, 12-25, 25-17).
 
The Panthers lost both matches against Missouri S&T last year, falling 3-1 at home and 3-1 in Rolla. Four of the eight sets played between the two teams last year were decided by two points.
 
Drury's Chloe Rear needs just 16 more assists to pass Kim Mooney for 11^th place on the program's all-time assist chart. Rear enters Saturday's match with 1,420 at Drury. The senior from Strafford has already set Drury's record for triple-doubles in her career with 14. She had two triple-doubles last week.
 
After Saturday's match, the Panthers return to the court on Tuesday for a non-conference match at Arkansas-Fort Smith on Tuesday at 6 pm.
