Lady Panthers host Indianapolis
The third-ranked Drury Lady Panthers return to action on Saturday at 3 pm to host Indianapolis in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match-up.

Drury has won eight straight and is 12-1 with a 5-0 record in the GLVC. The Lady Panthers extended their winning streak on Thursday with a 96-57 win at home over McKendree and, in their last two games, have put up 96 and 97 points. Drury poured in a season-high 97 on Dec. 17 at Florida Southern.

Lady Panthers guard Kaylee DaMitz-Holt leads the team's scoring attack averaging 18.1 points. She is also shooting .485 from the field and .415 from three-point range.

Indianapolis is 7-6 and 3-2 in the conference. The Greyhounds have been idle since New Year's Eve when they won at Ferris State in overtime, 65-62. Indianapolis has league wins over Quincy, William Jewell and Rockhurst and lost at Truman State and at Maryville.

UIndy is led by a new head coach Marc Mitchell, who is in his first year leading the program after serving as head coach at NCAA-I Saint Peters's for four years. He led Fairleigh-Dickinson-Florham at the Division III level from 2009-18, going 187-67 and he led the program to a National Championship and a 33-0 record in 2013-14.

The Greyhounds are led by Sadie Hill, who is scoring 15.9 points and contributing 8.4 rebounds per game.

Drury leads the all-time series against Indianapolis 14-5 and has won the last eight straight games against Greyhounds. UIndy's last win over Drury was on Jan. 5, 2014, in an 85-64 win in Springfield.

Following Saturday's game, the Lady Panthers start a three-game road trip at Lewis on Jan. 12 at 5:30 pm.

Findley closes in on 1,000 points
Drury forward Alana Findley enters Saturday's game with 963 points and needs 37 more to become the 21st player in program history to reach 1,000 career points. Findley already climbed to 12th on Drury's all-time rebounding chart with 512 where she is tied with Abby Bracker (2009-13) and she ranks 12th in steals in her career with 165.
