Drury faces Rockhurst and William Jewell in the final home matches
Drury concludes their three-game homestand on Friday and Sunday as the Panthers will take on Rockhurst at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the Lake Country Soccer Complex, then will host William Jewell at Harrison Stadium in the Curry Sports Complex on Sunday. Sunday will also be Senior Day for the Panthers with the graduate players honored before the match.
 
The Panthers are 3-5-5, 3-3-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and have gone 3-1-2 in their last six games. Drury enters Sunday's game coming off a 3-2 victory over local rivals Southwest Baptist. Rockhurst is 4-7-2 and 2-6-2 in the GLVC. The Hawks are on a two-game skid, as they lost 3-2 vs Quincy and 1-0 to #13 Illinois Springfield last week. William Jewell has yet to pick up a win but produced a positive result last week as the Cardinals drew with #13 Illinois Springfield 0-0. William Jewell did suffer a 2-1 loss to Quincy in their other match last week.
 
Lui Bull leads the Panthers with three goals, and one assist for seven points. J.J. Adikwu has three goals and has scored a goal in his past three home matches. Jason Puente leads the Panthers in assists with four and has accumulated those in the past three home matches as well.
 
Rockhurst is led by Jacopo Belardo, who has three goals and one assist, and Cristoforo LiCavoli, who has two goals and two assists. Between the posts for the Hawks has been Fabio D'Errico who has kept three shutouts and made 41 saves.
 
Alexis Ibarra leads William Jewell in scoring with three goals and two assists. Cole Bulgren is second on the team in points with five (two goals and one assist). The Cardinals have split the net between two goalkeepers in Olav van Zanten and Jose Arellano.
 
Sunday's game is the last home regular season game of the year for the Panthers. Drury will travel Missouri – St. Louis on Friday, October 27th then to McKendree on October 29th to conclude the 2023 regular season.
