Panthers face Arkansas Tech in first road test of 2023-24 
The Drury Panthers play their first true road game of the year on Thursday night as they travel to Arkansas Tech for a 7:30 pm contest in Russellville, Arkansas.
 
Drury is 3-0 after two neutral court wins last weekend and a home victory on Tuesday. The Panthers won both games in Bolivar to start the season as they defeated Thomas More 73-70 on Friday, then Trevecca Nazarene 92-87 on Saturday. On Tuesday, Drury won their home opener with a 106-58 victory against Ozark Christian.
 
Arkansas Tech is 0-2 after falling in both games in Emporia, Kansas. The Wonderboys lost their opener, 86-76, at 20th ranked Emporia State on Friday, then fell to Fort Hays State, a team receiving votes for the top 25, 66-52.
 
Arkansas Tech went 16-15 last year, 12-10 in the Great American Conference, and they reached the league tournament championship game, where they lost to Southern Arkansas, 89-69.
 
Drury leads the all-time series 17-9 but lost last year's match-up 68-61 in Springfield.
 
After Thursday's game, the Panthers return home to host the DoubleTree Thanksgiving Classic on Nov. 21-22 in the O'Reilly Family Event Center. Drury will take on Fontbonne on Tuesday at 7:45 pm, then face Missouri Southern on November 22 at 7:45 pm.
