SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Both of Drury's swimming & diving teams finished first at the Drury Invitational at the Breech Pool in Springfield on Saturday. The Drury women's team completed the two-day event with 1,191 points and finished first among five teams. William Jewell was second with 778 points and Rockhurst was third with 530. The Drury men's squad was first in a six-team field, finishing with 996.5 points, while Rockhurst was second with 669 and William Jewell came in third with 651.5. 
 
Women's highlights

• The Panthers opened the second day of competition with a win in the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 1:47.63 (Lexi Waller, Leighton Rainer, Anastasiia Yermishyna and Ashlyn Moore)
• Maria Munoz won the 400 IM (4:29.12), the 1000 Free (10:49.94) and the 200 Fly (2:02.35)
• Josie Bushell finished first in the 200 Free (1:53.86)
• Lexi Waller was the only women's competitor to break 1:00 in the 100 Back and won with a time of :57.47
• Drury finished first in the 800 Free Relay with a time of 7:55.95 (Bushell, Gwen Bergum, Aisling Allen, and Mellie Wijk)
• Claire Conover won the 200 Breast (2:20.87)
• Ashlyn Moore took first place in the 100 Free (51.49)
• The Panthers won their third relay of the day with a win in the 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:35.67 (Moore, Bergum, Julie Berger, Juls Harden)

Men's highlights

• Drury won the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 1:47.63 (Ivan Adamchuk, Davi Mourao, Viktor Khnykin, Yuri Cabral)
• Alejandro Villarejo finished first in the 100 Fly (48.70) and the 200 Fly (1:47.48)
• Joao Nogueira picked up a win in the 200 Free (1:39.48)
• Davi Mourao took the 100 Breast (55.68)
• Ivan Adamchuk was a winner in the 100 Back (49.06)
• The Panthers won the 800 Free Relay with a time of 6:42.39 (Matteo Vissotto, Nogueria, Alvaro Zornoza and Josue Hernandez-Tellez)
• Colby Hughes picked up a win in the 1000 Free (9:41.31)
• Yuri Cabral swam to a win in the 100 Free (44.48)

 
Both Drury teams are in action again Nov. 16-18 at the Southern Methodist Invitational in Dallas, Texas.
