SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Both of Drury's swimming & diving teams posted wins in a dual against William Jewell at the Breech Pool in Springfield on Saturday. The DU men's team won 162-58, and the women's team posted a 148-46 victory over the Cardinals.
 
The Drury women's team won 10 of the 11 swimming events, while the men's team won 9 of the 11 races.
 
Women's highlights

• Drury started the dual with a 1-2 finish in the 200 Medley Relay and their top two teams were just 0.13 seconds apart. The Drury "A" team with Lexie Waller, Claire Conover, Anastaiia Yermishyna and Ashlyn Moore won with a time of 1:47.48, while the "B" squad with Mellie Wijk, Ashley Leader, Maria Munoz, and Ellie Walker posted a time of 1:47.61
• Mellie Wijk won two individual events as the junior from Sweden took the 100 Free (53.15) and the 200 Breast (2:22.31)
• The Panthers ended the event with a win in the 200 Free Relay as Moore, Walker, Mariana Alencar, and Josie Bushell won with a time of 1:36.02

 
Men's highlights

• The Panthers opened the day with a win in the 200 Medley Relay as Ivan Adamchuk, Davi Mourao, Alejandro Villarejo, and Yuri Cabral combined for a time of 1:30.47
• Matteo Vissotto won a distance event, taking the 1000 Free with a time of 9:27.62, then came back to finish second in a sprint and was the runner-up in the 50 Free (20.84)
• Cole Earl was uncontested in both diving events
• Drury's "A" team won the 200 Free Relay as Lucas Mineur, Aiden Scott, Viktor Khnykin, and Yuri Cabral completed the event in 1:21.11

Both Drury swim teams will be idle in competition until Jan. 19 when they take on Missouri State in a dual in Hammons Student Center.
