SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury tied in their scoreless GLVC opener with Lewis on Friday night at Lake Country Soccer Complex.
 
The Panthers moved their record to 0-2-3 and 0-0-1 in the GLVC, while the Flyers now rest at 0-1-3 and 0-0-1.
 
Drury played a strong game defensively all night, not allowing a goal against 11 total shots from Lewis. Panthers keeper Camden Meyer had two saves and was solid from start to finish. Drury defender John Clout had the lone shot on goal for the Panthers in the contest. A brilliantly played header attempt from Jakob Limpert struck the goalpost and missed by mere inches, nearly giving Drury the lead late in the contest.
 
Drury returns to Harrison Stadium this Sunday to take on #18 Indianapolis at 2:30 pm.
