Panthers back at home Friday, Sunday
The Panthers are back at home to face a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference foes in Upper Iowa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Harrison Stadium, then the Bulldogs of Truman State on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Harrison Stadium.
 
Drury is coming off a 2-1 win at Missouri S&T on Sunday, their first win of the year. The Panthers are 1-4-3 and 1-2-1 in the GLVC. Upper Iowa is coming off a 4-1 victory over Quincy and have scored 19 goals in their first seven games. The Peacocks are 4-2-1 and 1-2 in the conference. Truman State is 3-2 and 2-1 in the GLVC. The Bulldogs enter the weekend coming off a 1-0 loss to 24th ranked Illinois Springfield on Sunday. Truman State plays at Southwest Baptist on Friday before coming to Drury for Sunday's match.
 
Senior defender John Clout scored the Panthers first goal in their contest at Missouri S&T on Sunday. The Panthers struck again after freshman Lui Bull put a ball into the lower right portion of the net for his first goal of the season just before halftime as Drury hung on for a 2-1 win in Rolla.
 
Following the two games this weekend, the Panthers will travel to Quincy on Oct. 6 and Illinois Springfield, currently ranked 23rd, on Oct. 8.
