Panthers open home schedule this weekend
The Drury Panthers will play their first home games of the season as they host two Great Lakes Valley Conference foes in Maryville and Missouri S&T on Friday and Saturday in the O'Reilly Family Event Center. The Panthers will play Maryville on Friday at 6 p.m. and Missouri S&T on Saturday at 3 p.m.
 
Drury enters these two matches 1-11 and 0-2 in the GLVC. The Panthers picked up their first win against Northwestern Oklahoma State on September 9^th and are coming off of losses at 20^th ranked Lewis last Friday (3-0) and at Indianapolis (3-0) on Saturday.
  
Both Maryville and Missouri S&T currently rest at 8-4 on the season. The Saints are 1-1 in the league after picking up a 3-1 win over Illinois Springfield, then falling to Quincy 3-1.
 
Missouri S&T will take on Southwest Baptist on Friday and play Drury the following day. The Miners enter the weekend 1-1 in the GLVC, having beaten Illinois Springfield 3-0 on Sept. 23. Missouri S&T fell to Quincy in five sets the day before.

After this weekend's matches, Drury will take on Arkansas Fort Smith at home this Tuesday. The Panthers are looking for revenge as they lost their match with the Lions earlier this season at the Gorilla Classic Tournament, falling in four sets. Game time is at 6 p.m. in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
