Quincy and Truman State come to Springfield to square off with Drury
Drury host Truman State and Quincy this weekend in a battle of teams battle for a spot in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) playoffs.
 
The Panthers dropped their last game on the road at Lewis, 2-0. Drury is currently tied for ninth in the conference with Truman State at nine points, trailing Quincy for the las spot in the postseason at 10 points. Carson Morgan has been on a strong run offensively for Drury with six points in his last three games played. The junior from Springfield did not play in the team's 3-1 win against Upper Iowa.
 
On Thursday, Truman State makes it way to Harrison Stadium. Last weekend, the Bulldogs went 1-0-1 with a tie against Rockhurst and a 1-0 win against William Jewell at home. Truman is tied for the ninth-place spot in the conference with Drury, one point out of the playoffs. The Bulldogs play at Southwest Baptist on Sunday, following their match against Drury.
 
Quincy treks to Springfield on Sunday after a Friday match in Rolla against Missouri S&T. The Hawks dropped to Rockhurst last weekend 3-0 and beat SBU 1-0. Quincy holds a one-point advantage over both Truman and Drury but are tied with Lincoln. With a game against Lincoln next weekend, both games for the Hawks this weekend with be make or break.
 
After this weekend, the Panthers hit the road for the final time of the regular season to play Rockhurst (October 25) and William Jewell (October 27).
