Drury faces GLVC leading Indy on Friday, Illinois Springfield on Sunday  
Drury is home this weekend to face two teams that are unbeaten in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. The Panthers host Indianapolis on Friday at 7:30 pm, then are at home against Illinois Springfield on Sunday at Harrison Stadium in Springfield.
 
Drury enters the weekend 3-2-3, 1-2-2 in the GLVC, and will be looking for their first win in four games. The Panthers are 0-2-2 in their last four games and earned a 1-1 tie at 10th ranked McKendree last Friday and lost 1-0 on a late goal at Maryville on Sunday. Drury is led by Joe Loughnane, who has one goal and three assists.
 
Indianapolis is 5-2 and has won five straight. The Greyhounds lost their first two regular season games but have not lost since they started play in the GLVC. UIndy is coming off a 2-0 win over William Jewell on Sunday. Indianapolis goalie Ionas Giovandis leads the GLVC with a 0.40 goals-against-average in five games and he ranks second in save percentage with a .867 mark.
 
Illinois Springfield enters the weekend with a 3-2-2 overall record and a 3-0-2 mark in the conference. The Prairie Stars have a five-game unbeaten streak, having gone 3-0-2 in their last five games. Illinois Springfield is coming off a 2-2 tie at home against Rockhurst on Sunday. Before coming to Springfield, UIS is at Missouri S&T on Friday. The Prairie Stars goalie Joe Brudnak is the conference leader in save percentage (.885) and is 3-0-2 with a 0.60 GAA. Anton Aduwa-Emovon leads his team and is tied for third in the league with three goals.
 
The Panthers will be looking for their first win over Indianapolis Sept. 10, 2017, when they defeated the Greyhounds 3-2. UIndy has won seven straight against Drury.
 
Drury owns a 6-7-4 record all-time against Illinois Springfield. The two teams played one another twice last year. The Panthers lost 1-0 at UIS in the GLVC Quarterfinals on Nov. 5, and the Prairie Stars took a 2-0 win over Drury in Springfield, Ill., on Oct. 8, 2023. The Panthers have gone 0-5-4 in their last nine games against Illinois Springfield, and Drury's last win over the Stars came on Oct. 19, 2014, in a 2-0 Panthers win at Harrison Stadium.
 
After this weekend, Drury goes back on the road when they travel to Upper Iowa on Oct. 11.
